About Our Class
Our Sr. Adult class welcomes everyone. We currently average around 30 each week. We enjoy each other, and you can say we are Clean, Close, & Connected to Jesus Christ. We also enjoy eating, so come and join us as we serve our Lord.
14 “Now fear the Lord and serve him with all faithfulness. Jimmy Henson
Jimmy Henson was born and raised in Chapel Hill. He attended Forrest High School and MTSU. He retired in May and has worked for ICP in Lewisburg for 19 years, in education for 18 years as a teacher & coach, and at Lawrence Funeral Home for 3 years. Jimmy has been married to his wife Cindy for 39 years and has 3 children (Jessica, 43; Colin, 36; Rachel, 32) and 9 grandchildren (Abi, Miles, Liam, Sunnie, Mary Claire, Ramsey, Goldie, Hazel, Fields). Some of his hobbies include spending time with family, yard work, golf, and anything related to Tennessee Sports. GO Vols!!
Jimmy has attended SBC all his life and was saved at age 12. He previously taught the Young Adult class and currently teaches the Sr. Adult class.
