About Our Class
Angela, Shannon, and Lori bring outstanding leadership to the Adult 2/Young Adult small group (ages 26 to 35) and use the Answers in Genesis curriculum. This powerful curriculum is a great tool for teaching Biblical literacy and equipping Christians to defend their faith. Join us every Sunday at 9:15 am.

Shannon Curtis came to Christ at the age of 10. He was born and raised at Smyrna Baptist Church. He has been a machinist for 27 years. Shannon enjoys being outdoors, swimming, and riding his 4-wheeler. Shannon's wife, Lori Curtis grew up in the Methodist Church. She was baptized at Smyrna Baptist Church in 1994, the same year she and Shannon got married. They have been married for 32 years and have three children: Cannon, Madison & Keaton. Lori just retired after 32 years of teaching at Chapel Hill Elementary School.

Angela Cook came to faith in Jesus through the witness of her mother, twin sister, and Granny Alice. She was baptized at age 12 and rededicated her life when she joined Smyrna Baptist Church after being invited by longtime friends Lori Curtis and Marsha Townsend. Angela has 2 boys, Pryor, 26 and Jackson, 22. She does medical billing for Inception Fertility. She is a HUGE fan of Tennessee Volunteers football, baseball, and softball teams. She has a passion for helping others and enjoys making jewelry.
